  • Water (Enough to Cover the Pasta)
  • Salt, to Taste
  • 1 Small Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs (Such as Basil, Oregano, or Thyme)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese for Garnish (Optional)
  • Fresh Basil Leaves for Garnish (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Fill your Electric kettle with water and bring it to a boil, ensuring you add enough water to cover the pasta. Plug in the Kettle and let it boil.
  2. Once boiled, add the pasta, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Let it cook for about 8 - 10 minutes until the pasta is al dente.
  4. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and saute until they become soft and translucent.
  5. Pour in the tomato sauce and dried Italian herbs. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
  8. Serve the hot pasta and savor the delightful combination of flavors and textures.
