  • 1 Teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup cashew paste
  • 1 Teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine grated lauki, mashed potatoes, besan, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • Shape the mixture into small koftas and deep-fry until golden brown. Set aside.
  • In a pan, heat oil and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and chopped onions. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw aroma dissipates.
  • Introduce tomato puree, cashew paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the masala releases its aromatic essence.
